大自然的饋贈:從鬆塔到超慢驅動器

刺激響應性驅動器是一種將環境變化的能量轉換成機械動能的裝置,用於控製驅使物體進行各種預定動作。其在柔性機器人、傳感器、能量轉換等領域展示出廣泛的潛在應用,因而受到了人們的廣泛關注。
在這方麵,我們需要向大自然學習——大da自zi然ran經jing過guo數shu億yi年nian的de進jin化hua,已yi孕yun育yu出chu許xu多duo具ju有you獨du特te的de響xiang應ying性xing運yun動dong特te點dian的de植zhi物wu或huo組zu織zhi。比bi如ru,捕bu蠅ying草cao和he含han羞xiu草cao在zai受shou到dao觸chu碰peng時shi會hui快kuai速su閉bi合he葉ye子zi來lai捕bu食shi昆kun蟲chong或huo躲duo避bi捕bu食shi者zhe;茅膏菜通過變形包裹住捕捉到的昆蟲以進一步消化;複活草在幹旱條件下蜷縮包裹自己以減少水分損失;跳tiao舞wu草cao會hui隨sui著zhe音yin樂le舞wu動dong等deng。其qi實shi,一yi些xie凋diao亡wang的de植zhi物wu組zu織zhi也ye具ju有you響xiang應ying性xing運yun動dong的de特te點dian,其qi主zhu要yao依yi靠kao獨du特te結jie構gou和he組zu成cheng實shi現xian對dui環huan境jing的de響xiang應ying,如ru鬆song塔ta的de鱗lin片pian、蒲公英的冠毛、豆莢、麥芒、冰葉日中花的種皮等。這些植物原型為人工驅動器的設計和製備提供了靈感和物理模型,是構築新型功能性人工驅動器的有效途徑。

研yan究jiu發fa現xian,相xiang比bi於yu其qi他ta運yun動dong型xing植zhi物wu組zu織zhi,鬆song塔ta鱗lin片pian展zhan示shi出chu最zui慢man的de運yun動dong速su度du,且qie保bao持chi大da的de形xing變bian量liang。將jiang鱗lin片pian解jie剖pou後hou分fen別bie觀guan察cha發fa現xian,內nei層ceng的de維wei管guan束shu具ju有you快kuai的de運yun動dong速su度du和he大da的de形xing變bian量liang,而er外wai層ceng的de石shi細xi胞bao組zu織zhi吸xi水shui量liang大da、保水性好、運動速度慢且形變量小。對比得出,鬆塔鱗片的慢速運動是由維管束驅動的,而保水性好的石細胞組織減緩其運動。
通tong過guo對dui維wei管guan束shu的de微wei觀guan結jie構gou進jin一yi步bu觀guan察cha發fa現xian,維wei管guan束shu是shi由you平ping行xing排pai列lie的de彈dan簧huang狀zhuang微wei管guan和he方fang形xing微wei管guan組zu成cheng。這zhe兩liang種zhong微wei管guan構gou成cheng了le典dian型xing的de異yi質zhi結jie構gou,其qi中zhong,彈dan簧huang狀zhuang微wei管guan聚ju集ji在zai鱗lin片pian外wai側ce方fang向xiang,方fang形xing微wei管guan分fen布bu在zai鱗lin片pian內nei側ce方fang向xiang。原yuan位wei動dong態tai分fen析xi顯xian示shi,彈dan簧huang狀zhuang微wei管guan展zhan示shi出chu更geng明ming顯xian的de吸xi濕shi伸shen長chang行xing為wei,使shi得de在zai環huan境jing濕shi度du升sheng高gao時shi維wei管guan束shu向xiang方fang形xing微wei管guan一yi側ce彎wan曲qu。
受此啟發,研究人員利用雙組份3D打印技術製備了由彈簧狀管和方形管構成的異質結構的基本單元,並在管中填充吸濕聚合物,以模仿鱗片中的“肉”laizengdaxishilujing,chenggongzhibeilejuyouleisisongtaxishiyundongdechaomanyundongderengongqudongzhuangzhi,qiyundongsudubiyibaodaodeshiduxiangyingqudongqidilianggeshuliangji,zhenggeyundongguochengnanyichajiao。這種具有極慢動作的驅動裝置有可能為偽裝和偵察設備的構建提供新的思路。
向大自然學習是人類文明進步的重要途徑,在大自然中有所發現,在認知過程中有所發明,在應用中有所創造,我們才能有所進步。
