漫天垃圾還需分類處理
雖(sui)然(ran)人(ren)類(lei)已(yi)經(jing)可(ke)以(yi)對(dui)部(bu)分(fen)太(tai)空(kong)垃(la)圾(ji)進(jin)行(xing)有(you)效(xiao)的(de)編(bian)目(mu)管(guan)理(li),但(dan)對(dui)於(yu)如(ru)何(he)批(pi)量(liang)處(chu)理(li)太(tai)空(kong)垃(la)圾(ji),目(mu)前(qian)仍(reng)然(ran)缺(que)乏(fa)直(zhi)接(jie)高(gao)效(xiao)的(de)辦(ban)法(fa)。專(zhuan)家(jia)認(ren)為(wei),要(yao)區(qu)分(fen)太(tai)空(kong)垃(la)圾(ji)所(suo)處(chu)的(de)軌(gui)道(dao)高(gao)低(di)和(he)體(ti)積(ji)大(da)小(xiao),有(you)針(zhen)對(dui)性(xing)地(di)采(cai)取(qu)不(bu)同(tong)手(shou)段(duan)進(jin)行(xing)處(chu)理(li)。

微小的太空垃圾碎片數量可能上億
如(ru)果(guo)能(neng)夠(gou)給(gei)地(di)球(qiu)拍(pai)個(ge)全(quan)景(jing)圖(tu)片(pian),並(bing)將(jiang)地(di)球(qiu)空(kong)間(jian)軌(gui)道(dao)上(shang)目(mu)前(qian)能(neng)夠(gou)被(bei)監(jian)測(ce)到(dao)的(de)空(kong)間(jian)碎(sui)片(pian)以(yi)及(ji)失(shi)效(xiao)衛(wei)星(xing)等(deng)太(tai)空(kong)垃(la)圾(ji)全(quan)部(bu)標(biao)記(ji)出(chu)來(lai),我(wo)們(men)將(jiang)會(hui)看(kan)到(dao)一(yi)幅(fu)非(fei)常(chang)震(zhen)撼(han)的(de)畫(hua)麵(mian):地球已經被密密麻麻的太空垃圾包裹。
在這些太空垃圾中,既有小到需要以毫米計算的碎片,如航天器外部因強烈的紫外線照射而脫落的油漆碎片等;也有長數米、重數噸的大型物體,如失效衛星、太陽能電池板等。
在太空垃圾的數量分布上,存在著體積越小、shuliangyueduodeguilv。youyubutongjigoudetongjifangfabingbuyizhi,guojihangtianjieduiyukongjianguidaozhongcunzaidetaikonglajizongliangshangwuzhunquedinglun。dandazhikeyiqueding,muqiankongjianguidaozhongzhijingzai10厘米以上的太空垃圾不少於2萬個,直徑在1厘米以上、10厘米以下的太空垃圾則有數十萬個,直徑小於1厘米的則可能達到上億個。
數量如此龐大的太空垃圾是有人故意亂扔的嗎?答案當然是否定的。雖然國際空間站曾多次丟棄過氨罐、相機腳架等,甚至還於2021年扔出過一塊重約2.5噸(dun)的(de)舊(jiu)太(tai)陽(yang)能(neng)電(dian)池(chi)板(ban),但(dan)這(zhe)些(xie)物(wu)體(ti)在(zai)短(duan)暫(zan)繞(rao)地(di)球(qiu)旋(xuan)轉(zhuan)後(hou)便(bian)會(hui)落(luo)入(ru)地(di)球(qiu)大(da)氣(qi),並(bing)在(zai)大(da)氣(qi)中(zhong)燃(ran)燒(shao)殆(dai)盡(jin),因(yin)此(ci)並(bing)不(bu)會(hui)成(cheng)為(wei)長(chang)期(qi)在(zai)軌(gui)的(de)太(tai)空(kong)垃(la)圾(ji)。
國(guo)際(ji)宇(yu)航(hang)聯(lian)空(kong)間(jian)運(yun)輸(shu)委(wei)員(yuan)會(hui)副(fu)主(zhu)席(xi)楊(yang)宇(yu)光(guang)告(gao)訴(su)科(ke)技(ji)日(ri)報(bao)記(ji)者(zhe),事(shi)實(shi)上(shang),除(chu)了(le)少(shao)數(shu)因(yin)達(da)到(dao)使(shi)用(yong)壽(shou)命(ming)或(huo)因(yin)為(wei)故(gu)障(zhang)而(er)失(shi)效(xiao)的(de)衛(wei)星(xing)等(deng)航(hang)天(tian)器(qi)外(wai),大(da)多(duo)數(shu)太(tai)空(kong)垃(la)圾(ji),尤(you)其(qi)是(shi)數(shu)量(liang)巨(ju)大(da)但(dan)體(ti)積(ji)微(wei)小(xiao)的(de)碎(sui)片(pian)垃(la)圾(ji),主(zhu)要(yao)是(shi)由(you)失(shi)效(xiao)航(hang)天(tian)器(qi)解(jie)體(ti)或(huo)太(tai)空(kong)垃(la)圾(ji)之(zhi)間(jian)碰(peng)撞(zhuang)造(zao)成(cheng)的(de)。“失效航天器、大碎片解體或碰撞後會形成大量小碎片,小碎片之間還可能會繼續發生碰撞,產生數量更多、體積更小的碎片。”楊宇光說,於是在一次次解體或碰撞中,大量太空垃圾被製造出來。
除了體積和數量之間存在相關關係,太空垃圾在軌道分布上也有一定規律。楊宇光表示,軌道高度在500—1000公裏的區域是太空垃圾的“重災區”,“shouxianzhegefanweineiguoqucunzaizhedaliangweixing,huxiangzhijianfashengpengzhuangdekenengxingjiaoda。qicishizheyifanweineidaqishifenxibo,wutiraodiqiuxuanzhuandesuduxiajianghuanman,yincizaiduanshijianneihennantuoliyuanguidao,zhuirudaqi。”而在軌道高度300—400公(gong)裏(li)區(qu)域(yu),雖(sui)然(ran)也(ye)曾(zeng)發(fa)射(she)有(you)大(da)量(liang)衛(wei)星(xing),但(dan)該(gai)區(qu)域(yu)內(nei)大(da)氣(qi)密(mi)度(du)較(jiao)高(gao),太(tai)空(kong)垃(la)圾(ji)會(hui)在(zai)相(xiang)對(dui)較(jiao)短(duan)的(de)時(shi)間(jian)內(nei)受(shou)大(da)氣(qi)阻(zu)力(li)影(ying)響(xiang)降(jiang)低(di)高(gao)度(du),最(zui)後(hou)落(luo)入(ru)大(da)氣(qi)中(zhong)燒(shao)毀(hui)。
將太空垃圾登記在冊進行追蹤管理

除(chu)了(le)雷(lei)達(da)觀(guan)測(ce),常(chang)見(jian)的(de)監(jian)測(ce)太(tai)空(kong)垃(la)圾(ji)的(de)方(fang)法(fa)還(hai)有(you)光(guang)電(dian)觀(guan)測(ce)。該(gai)手(shou)段(duan)主(zhu)要(yao)利(li)用(yong)光(guang)電(dian)望(wang)遠(yuan)鏡(jing)觀(guan)測(ce)空(kong)間(jian)軌(gui)道(dao)中(zhong)的(de)物(wu)體(ti),主(zhu)要(yao)設(she)備(bei)有(you)大(da)視(shi)場(chang)空(kong)間(jian)碎(sui)片(pian)光(guang)電(dian)望(wang)遠(yuan)鏡(jing)等(deng),但(dan)通(tong)常(chang)其(qi)隻(zhi)能(neng)在(zai)物(wu)體(ti)反(fan)射(she)太(tai)陽(yang)光(guang)的(de)情(qing)況(kuang)下(xia)才(cai)可(ke)實(shi)現(xian)觀(guan)測(ce)。楊(yang)宇(yu)光(guang)表(biao)示(shi),不(bu)管(guan)是(shi)哪(na)種(zhong)觀(guan)測(ce)方(fang)法(fa),目(mu)前(qian)都(dou)存(cun)在(zai)一(yi)定(ding)的(de)局(ju)限(xian)性(xing),尤(you)其(qi)是(shi)對(dui)於(yu)微(wei)小(xiao)太(tai)空(kong)垃(la)圾(ji)的(de)監(jian)測(ce)仍(reng)有(you)較(jiao)大(da)瓶(ping)頸(jing)。他(ta)進(jin)一(yi)步(bu)介(jie)紹(shao)道(dao):“目前人類已經能夠實現對位於較低軌道的、直徑在1厘米以上,位於較高軌道的、直徑在10厘米以上的空間物體進行追蹤。但目前都是物體越大越容易監測,而太空垃圾則是體積越小的反而數量越多。”
成本問題製約太空垃圾治理
看得見,但不一定“摸”得de著zhe。雖sui然ran人ren類lei已yi經jing可ke以yi對dui部bu分fen太tai空kong垃la圾ji進jin行xing有you效xiao的de編bian目mu管guan理li,但dan對dui於yu如ru何he批pi量liang處chu理li這zhe些xie太tai空kong垃la圾ji,目mu前qian仍reng然ran缺que乏fa直zhi接jie高gao效xiao的de辦ban法fa。楊yang宇yu光guang表biao示shi,直zhi接jie捕bu獲huo太tai空kong垃la圾ji進jin行xing收shou集ji處chu理li,當dang然ran是shi人ren們men能neng夠gou想xiang到dao的de最zui簡jian單dan且qie直zhi接jie的de辦ban法fa,但dan卻que也ye是shi成cheng本ben最zui高gao的de辦ban法fa之zhi一yi。“太tai空kong垃la圾ji都dou處chu在zai不bu同tong軌gui道dao上shang,如ru果guo要yao靠kao近jin它ta們men就jiu需xu要yao不bu斷duan變bian軌gui,變bian軌gui就jiu需xu要yao消xiao耗hao推tui進jin劑ji,成cheng本ben太tai高gao。因yin此ci這zhe種zhong辦ban法fa無wu法fa用yong於yu批pi量liang處chu理li太tai空kong垃la圾ji。”
